ND Landscape Services has been providing Full-Service Landscaping for clients in the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980. 

We currently have a full-time position available for a Business Developer to aggressively grow our Commercial Maintenance and Snow & Ice Management division. This position will be responsible for all sales activities of the maintenance division from lead generation to closing to production handoff. The BD will develop and implement a marketing and sales plan which will accomplish the growth goals of the maintenance division. This position works closely with the operations and administrative team for the achievement of client satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals that support the vision and values of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     •  Work with Sales Manager and Leadership Team to develop and implement
         an annual marketing and sales plan that includes:
             •  Total annual sales goal for The Company
             •  Regional target list of prospective clients by market segment and geography
             •  Existing client target list with additional market share opportunity
             •  Competitive Analysis of competitors and key strengths and weaknesses
     •  Ensure bid time frames are executed and scope of work items are being
        properly estimated
     •  Generate customized solutions-based proposals and presentations that will position
        our company as best choice provider
     •  Work with Administration and Production team to hand off recent sales to ensure
        that “Sales Promises” are communicated 
     •  Coordinate all company marketing efforts including:
             •  Set up all networking and social events geared toward meeting sales goals
             •  Trade organization involvement - Work with team to ensure participation and
                support for local organizations that will lead to new sales
     •  Electronic marketing - Initiate web and email campaigns that will lead to future sales
     •  Sponsorships and contributions - Manage all budget items that are designated for
        the marketing and goodwill of the company

QUALIFICATIONS:

     •  High level of integrity and commitment to excellence
     •  Natural ability to meet new people and build relationships
     •  Competitive spirit and drive to succeed
     •  Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
     •  Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing, Environmental Design, or Landscape
        Architecture preferred, or 5 years minimum experience in commercial landscape
        or commercial property management industry
     •  Excellent customer service skills
     •  Excellent oral and written communication skills
     •  Proficient with computer software programs including MS 365 (Teams, Word, Excel,
        Outlook, PowerPoint) and Go-I-Lawn measuring software
