Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst I

We currently have an opening in our New Orleans, Baton Rouge or Nashville office for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst I with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team! As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, implementation and monitoring of the quality assurance test cases.
You will conduct testing on software, websites, mobile apps, and other digital products to identify and resolve bugs, defects, and other potential issues. You will be responsible for the quality assurance process to ensure final products meet the project standards and are reliable, fully functional and user-friendly before they are released. This includes creation of test scenarios, development and execution of test cases, analysis of test results, detection and documentation of defects, and validation of bug fixes. You will be working in a fast paced, collaborative Agile environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviews statements of work, digital strategies, functional requirements and any additional design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the project.
Works in collaboration with project managers and cross functional teams to identify, estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing processes and activities.
Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical requirements, user stories and business use cases.
Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
Identifies, records, tracks, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects. Reports defects in test plan results and provides test status updates.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Provide QA testing and support for ADA conformance (Level A & A).
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Create and maintain documentation and tutorials
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Minimum of 2 years of QA experience or a similar quality control role
Familiarity with Windows, Mac and mobile devices
Experience and knowledge of Web Accessibility Testing (WCAG / ADA)
Experience with QA / testing tools and certification and experience with JIRA a plus
