Job Title:  Branch Manager / Broker

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland (There may be travel to additional office locations in – Columbia, Bowie, DC, VA)

Salary: $70,000 / annually

Type: Direct Hire

Hours: Full-time 40 hour week

 

Our Client is seeking a passionate, driven and committed individual to join their team with ongoing development and growth of the Broker team. This position is responsible for assisting the broker team and is responsible for the professional real estate practices under their jurisdiction and all the sales and broker licensees affiliated with the organization.

 

Job Duties:  

·         Supervises Consulting Brokers and Branch Managers of the business

·         Ensures that all people performing real estate brokerage services for the company are appropriately licensed.

·         Ensures affiliated licensees submit their transaction document to the Designated Broker or delegated Consulting Broker in a timely manner.

·         Guides brokers on company policies and procedures.

·         Delegates duties such as the proper handling of clients’ accounts and management of records and trust accounts to Branch Managers and Consulting Brokers.

·         Secures written agreement stipulating the delegated duties.

·         Maintains records of real estate dealings.

·         Completes and updates balance sheets and trust accounts and reviews them for accuracy.

·         Maintains records on real estate transactions, listings, and brokerage contracts.

·         Maintains the real estate budget for real estate transactions and accounts for the funds used. OR Establishes a check and balance system of initials and dates on handling client funds and documents.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         Current Maryland Real Estate Broker License

·         Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

·         Exceptional customer service skill set

·         Effective and positive interpersonal and communication skills

·         3 years of experience as a Managing Broker or Branch Manager
