Regulatory Permitting and Technical Support
The Department of Energy, Hanford Field Office (HFO), is requesting for Regulatory Permitting and Technical Support requiring one (1) Full-time equivalent general support contractor(s) (1920 labor hours each) to provide support at the Hanford Field Office (HFO).
- Qualifications: Documented work experience on resumes must clearly support all minimum qualifications and demonstrate the capability to successfully perform the tasks outlined in the SOW. Evaluations will be conducted strictly on the face of the resume as submitted. Apart from clarifications formally requested by the Contracting Officer, the Government will not make assumptions, infer undocumented capabilities, or accept unsolicited post-submission resume updates or explanations. Resumes that do not clearly demonstrate the required experience will result in the candidate or proposal being disqualified from consideration.
- Verification of Skills vs. Credentials:
- Work Experience & Technical Skills: Simply claiming an operational qualification or listing a skill in a summary block without corresponding professional work history to support the claim is insufficient to receive credit. For example, if the SOW requires experience "conducting engineering design reviews" or "interpreting and researching the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to support procurement actions," simply listing "Civil Engineering" or "FAR Knowledge" in a skills list is insufficient. The professional work history entries must clearly detail the specific positions, dates, and active projects where the candidate actually executed those engineering designs or researched and applied those federal acquisition clauses to support the procurement lifecycle.
- Certifications & Education: Verifiable credentials, such as professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, CISSP) or college degrees, do not require corresponding work experience narratives. However, they must be clearly listed on the face of the resume. The Government reserves the right to request physical copies or verification links of any listed degree or certification at any time during the evaluation process. Failure to provide verifiable proof of a required credential within 24 hours of a Government request will result in the candidate being disqualified from consideration.
