Geotechnical Engineer

We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to add to our Rogers, AR team.
Assignments may include developing geotechnical scopes or work, field inspections, overseeing drill rig operations, testing of materials, calculations, preparation of reports, discussion of results, knowledge of principal and techniques commonly employed in the specific area of assignments. Communication with Construction Testing Manager daily is required for geotechnical project that go into the construction phase.
Responsibilities include:
● Project Management
● Proposals
● Contracts
● Analyze geotechnical engineering boring logs and other data
● Perform geotechnical calculations
● Make assessments and write technical reports
● Oversee drilling equipment operations
● Oversee geotechnical laboratory testing for reports
● Estimating quantities & construction costs
● Construction phase services
● Overtime may be required
● Outdoor drilling sites in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
● B.S in Geology or Civil Engineering
● Licensed P.E. desired
● E.I. will be considered
● 4+ years Geotechnical experience
● Heavy lifting, if required to assist drill crew
