Team Leader - Drilling
We're looking for a Drilling Team Leader in Springfield, MO, to help lead our crews, strengthen our operations, and support the continued growth of our drilling services.
This role is for someone who knows the drilling industry, enjoys working with people, and is ready to take ownership of more than just the work in front of them. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape how our drilling operation runs - from crews and equipment to scheduling, production, and growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You'll lead drilling and subsurface investigation projects from scoping to final data. You'll keep crews safe, projects on track, and clients confident. Along the way, you'll:
Lead, mentor, and support a team of drilling technicians, from daily priorities to long-term growth
Coordinate rigs, schedules, equipment, and resources to keep work moving
Keep safety, equipment readiness, and quality at the forefront of everything we do
Own project scope, schedule, and budget
Build strong client relationships and help bring new ones in
Shape how the drilling team operates as it grows
What We’re Looking For:
Relevant experience in drilling, geotechnical investigations, or related field services
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Strong understanding of drilling operations, field procedures, and safety practices
Experience coordinating projects, crews, and resources
Experience leading teams or a clear readiness to step into that role
