Lounge Server
Serving excellence! Our lakefront restaurant, the Boat Club, is a refined, low-lit restaurant overlooking surrounding mountains and Whitefish Lake. You will serve food, drinks, and a standard of upscale hospitality from the moment our guests take their seats. All employees receive perks of $50 rooms at any of our properties, and discount rates at our spa, restaurant, and retail.
The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Lounge Server to work with our Food & Beverage Team $10.85 hourly + Tips.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
The Server is to create the finest experiences for our guest, provide exceptional service and create a connection with our guests with warmth, energy, teamwork, and professionalism.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a professional image.
- Maintains professional working relationships.
- Collects payment for food and beverage services.
- Follows company cash handling and accounting procedures.
- Provides exceptional service experience.
- Excellent product knowledge.
- Guides guests in selecting food and beverage terms.
- T.I.P.S. certifications
- Notifies manager of unhappy guests.
- Performs assigned side work duties.
- Assists manager/chefs as directed.
- Takes drink orders at guest greeting, delivers beverages and offers appetizer. Takes entire order, writes down order, and repeats order to guest for clarification.
- Understand proper food storage and sanitation procedures.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Requirements:
- POS system competency with Aloha and Open Table.
- Lift 30 pounds. The ability to carry a tray of food and tray with drinks.
- Able to manage unsatisfactory guest experience and notify manager.
- Able to hear guests' order and needs amidst loud background noise.
- Stands during 6–8-hour shift.
- Must be able to multitask under stress.
- Must be organized and remain calm during the shift.
- Needs to have a full knowledge of the lunch and dinner menu as well as the wine list
EDUCATION
- Preference for a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Computer and point of sales skills required.
EXPERIENCE/ LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
- 2+ years at a high level, quality establishment.
- TIPS and Food Handler Certifications required.
SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS:
The Server's schedule can be flexible with part- and full-time opportunities. Working evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
