Regulatory Coordinator

This is a remote role Temporary

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Regulatory & Quality Assurance, the Regulatory Coordinator will assist with compiling documentation for various submissions, completing regulatory research, and supporting team members on project-related assignments. This position is a temporary 12-month term with potential for extension.  This position can be based either in Canada or US remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, prepare, and submit documentation to various regulatory agencies to support new product registrations, organic attestations, licenses, permits, etc.
  • Maintain existing product registrations, organic attestations, licenses, and permits.
  • Collect and submit data necessary to create SDSs.
  • Assist in the development and review of product labels and associated documentation, verifying compliance with regulations.
  • Support the regulatory team in miscellaneous projects, research, and evaluations.
  • Adhere to existing standard operating procedures and diligently use project tracking systems.  
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, or 3 years of related work experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who: 
  • Have experience registering fertilizers and/or supplement products in Canada and US. 
  • Have experience achieving organic attestations for agricultural inputs with organizations such as Ecocert, Procert, OMRI, and/or SHC. 
  • Have experience obtaining export permits and shipping goods containing animal ingredients under USDA’s APHIS program.  
  • Preference will be given to candidates who love gardening, are passionate about sustainability, and/or have experience in the agricultural industry.
