Part Time Armed Officer

SMP Security is hiring for a Part Time ARMED Officer!

STARTING PAY $25.00 HR

• Weekend overnight hours
• Approximately 21 hours a week
• Paid weekly
• We are a locally owned family business!

What a typical shift looks like:

• Monitoring patrons and ensuring the safety of guests and employees
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the client's employees and guests
• De-escalating confrontations
• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Compose written and verbal reports of observed security and safety concerns
• Perform duties as specified in client post orders and within company protocols
• Conduct foot patrols of the property (interior and exterior)

Qualifications include:

• Firearms Certification / License
• Prior Law Enforcement training preferred
• Ability to work independently
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check
• Detail oriented with good communication skills
• Must be comfortable in large crowds
