POSITION: PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT (PCA)

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and caring Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home care and assistance to our client in Crawfordville, GA 30631.

Pay: Based on experience and client assignment
Job Type: PRN

• Assist the client with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care as needed.

• Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed.

• Provide light housekeeping and maintain a safe and clean environment.

• Assist with mobility and transfers as appropriate.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Remind the client to take medications as directed.

• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, emotional, or behavioral condition.

• Follow the client's service plan and agency policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

• Report any incidents, concerns, or changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.

• Protect the client's privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

• Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred.

• Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.

• Ability to follow instructions and provide care according to the client's service plan.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and agency staff.

• CPR certification preferred/required as applicable.

• Must be able to successfully complete required background checks and agency onboarding requirements.

• Must have reliable transportation to the client's home.
