Plan, direct, and coordinate activities at multiple locations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and document
internal regulatory processes, such as training, internal audits, inspections,
license renewals, or registrations. Compile and prepare materials for
submission to regulatory agencies.
- Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents.
- Verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have
been documented, implemented, and communicated.
Design or implement improvements in communication,
monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards.
Advise Management or business partners on the
implementation or operation of compliance programs such as stormwater, waste
management, pollution prevention (P2P & spill contingency), motor carrier
credentialing, CMV credentialing and inspection, driver qualification, HOS, and
Human Resources (HR) management.
- Prepare reports regarding
compliance operations and progress.
Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of
regulatory documents or submissions including ensuring operations are properly
registered, licensed, or permitted by preparing initial and renewal filings for
FMCSA, TCEQ, RRC, TDHS, Texas DMV, and various entities related to other
- Develop programs and provide classroom training for
specific topics when required and as needed.
- Participate in internal or external audits and assist
internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.
Supervise employee(s) in the Human Resources department
regarding HR-related activities.
- Monitor compliance of
Human Resources systems to ensure their effectiveness and proper recordkeeping.

Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations as well as RCRA and DOT regulations.
Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

Education and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or scientific field required; Master's preferred.
Experience: 5+ year(s) prior experience understanding and interpreting regulations.
