The Director of Human Resources provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organizations. This position is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.


JOB DUTIES:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily, which includes:

·         Responsible for the strategic long-term planning and overall development of the Human Resources department to support the growth, goals, and culture of the Company.

·         Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains HR staff.

·         Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

·         Responsible for developing and overseeing all domestic and international recruiting strategies for the Company.

·         Responsible for constructive and timely performance evaluations.

·         Responsible for managing Employee Housing.

·         Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

·         Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organizations long-term mission and goal.

·         Identifies key performance indicators for the organizations human resource function; assesses the organizations success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.

·         Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.

·         Process payroll on a biweekly basis.

·         Provide leadership and assists with resolution of human resources, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.

·         Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.

·         Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.

·         Drafts and implements the budget for the human resource department.

·         Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·         Experience with ADP preferred.


Education and Experience:

·         Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters preferred.

·         At least five years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.

·         SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP/ PHR or SPHR strongly preferred.



·         Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·         Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

  • Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed.
