Production Manager


ND Landscape Services has been providing Full-Service Landscaping for clients in the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980. We currently have a full-time position available for a Production Manager who is responsible for managing all field operations within the Landscape Maintenance and Snow & Ice Service departments. The Production Manager manages the budget, timelines, client and vendor relations, personnel, equipment, and supplies to maximize efficiencies of all jobs at the highest quality.   • Follow and enforce all established policies, procedures, and recognized practices
  • Oversee production schedule; assign and oversee all projects
  • Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
  • Adhere to estimated costs and follow budgets accordingly
  • Make decisions about equipment use, modification and procurement
  • Set and monitor quality standards
  • Prepare and maintain production reports
  • Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers
  • Identify training needs of staff and execute solutions
  • Meet or exceed all customer service requirements


  • 3+ years of prior experience within landscape maintenance and snow & ice operations
  • Ability to manage the team to meet or exceed company production goals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate company resources
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Self-starter and demonstrates initiative
  • Operates with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
  • Ability to delegate and follow-up
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 or a willingness to develop these skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
