What you will get to do:
Build and Lead a ROCKstar team
Develop strategies for the growth of the geotechnical division in the Northwest Arkansas region
Identify target clients to build partnerships with and participate in business development activities
Oversee lab operations
Prepare client proposals and contracts
Work on a variety of exciting projects in the Midwest which is one of the most unique geographic locations to perform geotechnical engineering due to the 8,000+ abundant sinkholes and over 32,000 mine features from past lead mining.
Understand the “why” behind site conditions we encounter on our projects
Work alongside John Snider, who has over 35 years of experience in the field of engineering
Work with other geotech leaders to help grow the geotechnical division company wide
Work with our Rogers office leaders, drilling department, and leaders from across the company on multiple projects
You will be a good fit if:
You have a B.S. in Geology or Civil Engineering
You are a licensed Professional Engineer
You have 7+ years geotechnical experience
You are driven, motivated, and responsive
You have leadership experience
You have knowledge of geotechnical drilling, including soil sampling, rock coring, groundwater measurements, and planning geotechnical explorations
You are able to do heavy lifting, if required to assist drill crew
You have the ability to work effectively in a team environment
You have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
You have a passion for growing a division
You are a strategic thinker
You get excited when you are challenged
You enjoy the outdoors and NW Arkansas region!
