client, in support of the Emerging Infectious Diseases Branch (EIDB) at the
Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, is seeking a Physician in Bethesda, Maryland and Silver
Physician will support the Emerging Infectious Diseases Branch at the Walter
Reed Army Institute of Research mission to ‘To identify, prepare for and
comprehensively and rapidly respond to emerging infectious diseases that
threaten the US Warfighter and the Global Community’. The
team is ideally seeking a primary care doctor or internal medicine doctor or
family medicine doctor who can see volunteers.
We are seeking a
qualified physician (M.D. or D.O.) with an active Maryland medical license who
must be able to see patients immediately.
with the primary healthcare team to provide patients with primary medical
care services within the standard of care for Internal Medicine patients.
reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose
condition of patients and propose treatment options.
clinical research according to approved protocols as a research physician,
and maintain ethical and regulatory compliance as well as the integrity of
study data and health and welfare of study participants.
clinical research studies involving administration of investigational
products according to the principles of current Good Clinical Practices
(cGCP), Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), and Good Manufacturing Practices
(cGMP) and in accordance with all relevant host nation, US Federal,
Department of Defense (DoD) and Army regulations and policies.
appropriate medical oversight and study-related clinical decision making
including the identification, classification, management and reporting of

- Analyze data and prepare data and
study findings for presentation at scientific meetings and publication in
the peer-reviewed scientific literature.
to the creation, composition, maintenance and execution of clinical
licensure, credentialing, medical board certification and other certifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
