Chief Engineer | Holiday Inn Express Gulfport Beach

We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable, problem-solving Chief Engineer to join our Holiday Inn Express family.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee the maintenance and daily operation of hotel systems and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the property
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas remain safe, functional, and guest-ready
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests
• Help manage vendor relationships and maintenance scheduling
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and hotel procedures
• Support the hotel team wherever needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous hotel maintenance or engineering experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
• Leadership mentality with a team-first attitude
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Calm under pressure and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• Positive attitude and professional communication skills
