Registered Dietitian – Eating Disorders & Medical Nutrition Therapy (Remote/Hybrid)
Behavioral Nutrition is a well-established outpatient eating disorder and medical nutrition therapy practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents and adults. For over 10 years, our team of experienced registered dietitians has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders, including binge eating disorder (BED), anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, and disordered eating patterns, while also supporting clients with co-occurring medical conditions such as obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, PCOS, and other nutrition-related concerns.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Registered Dietitian licensed in Massachusetts to join our growing clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals struggling with eating disorders and nutrition-related medical conditions.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will provide individualized outpatient medical nutrition therapy to adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring medical concerns. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
This position offers remote flexibility with optional hybrid opportunities for clinicians who wish to occasionally work from our Quincy office.
Major Areas of Responsibility

Provide high-quality, compassionate, ethical outpatient medical nutrition therapy to scheduled clients

Deliver individualized nutrition counseling for eating disorders and nutrition-related medical conditions

Develop personalized treatment plans and nutrition interventions based on each client’s needs
-
Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record (EHR) system
-
Maintain appropriate client communication and follow-up
-
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, psychiatrists, families, and other healthcare professionals when clinically appropriate
-
Actively participate as a positive and collaborative member of the clinical team

Stay current with evidence-based research, treatment standards, and best practices in eating disorder and nutrition care

Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements

Maintain organized, compliant, and up-to-date case files

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong understanding of eating disorder treatment standards of care

Clinical skills in motivational interviewing and behavior modification techniques

Experience supporting meal plan adherence and nutrition behavior change
-
Working knowledge of family systems and their impact on eating behaviors and nutrition habits
-
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high-quality clinical care
-
Commitment to compassionate, client-centered treatment
Preferred:
-
Certification in Diabetes Care and Education (CDCES) is a plus
-
Experience with eating disorders, obesity, diabetes, and medical nutrition therapy preferred

Experience working with adolescents and adults in individual counseling settings
Qualifications
Education-
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (Required)

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (Required)

Experience in eating disorder treatment preferred
-
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Required
-
Active Massachusetts Dietitian License – Required
-
Licensure in additional states is highly preferred and considered a strong plus, particularly for clinicians interested in providing telehealth services across multiple states

Multi-state licensed clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply
