Educational Travel Programs Marketing Intern- (Paid Internship)
The National WWII Museum is currently seeking an Educational Travel Programs Marketing Intern. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Educational Travel Marketing, the intern will assist with coordination of key marketing aspects as it pertains to the Museum’s wide array of signature educational travel programs. These include: international WWII history battlefield tours for adult audiences, Operation Homefront (a domestic travel opportunity to visit the Museum in New Orleans), high school and college student travel programs, the annual international Conference on WWII, and ticketed symposia under the Institute for the Study of War and Democracy.
The intern will gain valuable experience in writing and proofing marketing materials following institution wide standards for communication consistency. Adequate skills using In Design are required to assist with minor graphic design tasks. Additional opportunities for growth include collaboration with experienced graphic designers, learning industry standards for production of print media, and participation in social media marketing. The intern will gain familiarity with a workplace that is a fast-paced environment and adheres to deadlines.
The ideal candidate will be a junior or senior in college pursuing a degree in Marketing and/or Graphic Design, or is a recent graduate in one of these fields, must have excellent writing and editing skills. Interest in history, geography, and travel is preferred, but not required.
