Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will work with the payments teams to complete vendor payments for the heating assistance program.  This includes entering data for individual fuel deliveries, updating annual consumption data and serving as a liaison between vendors and clients in order to facilitate the remediation of heating emergencies in a swift and timely manner.

  • High School Diploma or HiSet equivalent required. Associate’s degree in finance or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years accounts payable experience required. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn Agency software and databases.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse individuals, families, co-workers, and community partners.
  • Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. 
  • Customer service oriented; strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive outlook and empathic style.
  • Bilingual ability preferred.
