Legal Services of North Florida seeks an energetic, passionate, self-driven 3-5 year corporate and/or real estate attorney with previous experience in corporate and real estate matters.

Knowledge of selection and formation of small businesses and tax treatment of these various entities a plus. Candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload which will consist primarily of representation of low-income small business owners and non-profit organizations involved in community development activities including affordable housing. The attorney will work in collaboration with other attorneys as part of the Florida Community Development Legal Project, www.flcommunitydevelopment.org, and will be responsible for meeting weekly with the Project Attorneys via video conferencing.

Job location is negotiable depending on capacity at any of LSNF’s 5 office locations, but candidate will be required to travel throughout LSNF's service area to meet with clients and engage with local government and other community leaders and will be required to travel to Miami once every 3-4 months to meet with the Florida Community Development Legal Project Director. 

Salary of $52,500 is negotiable depending on experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes paid holidays, paid vacation (which after two years, increases to five weeks per year), sick leave, and, after sixty days, fully paid health insurance for employee & dependent children, retirement plan, term life, and disability insurance.
