We're on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. Here's your chance to bring creativity, strategy, and innovation to the table and contribute to the future success of our credit union.
Implement design elements of the marketing plan, including the design and distribution of advertising materials, marketing brochures, and in-branch collateral materials.
Provide input for marketing and business development planning processes; making recommendations on products, services, pricing, distribution, and budget.
Conduct and compile market research to analyze pricing, distribution, product performance, and competitor products/services.
Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, and needs.
Represent FAFCU at public, community, and business events, fostering positive, professional relationships.
Collaborate with other teams in coordinating the annual meeting and monthly board meetings, including report production, facilities arrangements, and meeting logistics.
Assist with internal employee communication, such as staff emails, newsletters, and announcements.
Prepare monthly and/or quarterly reports on campaign performance and creative initiatives.
Create regular social media content and updates on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Help manage the FAFCU website by creating/updating content, monitoring SEO standards, creating blog posts, creating landing pages, and measuring data for reporting through GA4.
Manage the development, content creation, and execution of social media strategy.
Contribute to the planning and communication of contests, events, and sponsorships to further the credit union's social media mission and community outreach programs.
Work within project management software to process tasks to completion.
Assist with interoffice duties, such as mailings and placing orders for promotional items.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to disseminate information and complete tasks.
Attend events as assigned by the Marketing Director.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
- Execute responsibilities with minimal errors according to established department standards and within budget.
- Achieve planned market share, assets, loans, and other product/service objectives.
- Provide effective assistance to the marketing team in planning and implementing marketing strategies and promotions.
- Conduct accurate and thorough market analysis, making appropriate conclusions and recommendations.
- Successful contribution to meeting FAFCU's growth objectives.
- Communicating effectively with management in a timely and appropriate manner, submitting required reports by established deadlines.
- Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and internal staff while maintaining a positive image for the FAFCU.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Education: Minimum of a two-year degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, measurable success with relevant work experience may be considered.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: Knowledge of marketing strategy, brand strategy, SEO, SEM, SMM, Google Analytics (GA4), content creation, social media management, video production/editing. Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe processing software is preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills, including data analysis. Creativity and initiative. Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with the public. Knowledge of banking practices, policies, procedures, operations, products, services, and regulations (preferred).
