What we would like you to bring to the table:

• Experience in wiring and troubleshooting electrical circuits, bending and installing EMT conduit, is considered a must. 
• Experience working within the commercial environment is an asset. 
• Ability to assist the Journeypersons and Lead Hands with various electrical tasks.
• Ability to interpret and follow drawings/plans and complete the scope of work. 
• Provide material requirements to Journeyperson/Lead Hand for distribution. 
• Able to inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project quality standards. 
• Fire alarm experience is considered an asset. 
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects effectively and efficiently. 
• Have fundamental knowledge of lockout/tag out. 
• Able to work in the full range of environmental conditions: including outside in all weather. 
• Knowledge of Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and all other application legislation required. 
• Perform other related duties as required. 
  

Qualifications:

·       Ability to work in a physical fast-paced environment.

·       3rd and 4th block electrical certificate or equivalent experience.

·       Willingness to travel to all job sites.

·       Must have a strong work-ethic and be reliable.

·       Must have a valid driver's license.
