Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time, contract-to-hire basis. This role is perfect for a creative professional with a passion for design, strong technical skills, and a drive to deliver visually compelling materials that elevate our brand across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce point-of-purchase (POP) materials, including menus, table tents, posters, and in-store promotional materials.
- Create marketing collateral for concert and event promotions, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual presence.
- Design and oversee production of large-scale and small-scale signage, including banners, window clings, and outdoor displays.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Prepare files for print and coordinate with vendors to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer fresh, creative ideas for marketing initiatives.
- Adapt and refine designs based on team feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably with experience in retail, hospitality, or event marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design projects, including POP materials, event marketing, and signage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience preparing print-ready files and knowledge of print production processes.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexible schedule that allows for time sensitive requests and short deadlines.
