What you will do:
As our Manager Systems Optimization, you will be responsible for optimizing systems and processes enterprise-wide to deliver the greatest value to the business and members in support of the strategic plan. In this highly collaborative systems optimization, process improvement and project management role, you will support the enterprise’s ability to continuously deliver exceptional member experiences at every touchpoint through efficient and effective use of technology, resources and talent. You will champion enterprise strategy, agile methodologies, project management and standardized practices by providing support, guidance and governance of enterprise and business unit projects impacting member experience delivery to meet enterprise business strategy. This includes system applications, process improvement, journey mapping and project management. You will be accountable for championing agile methodologies and standards while guiding Business Units in project delivery of strategic projects. Championing the effective, efficient and profitable functioning of all systems responsible for directly or indirectly serving or supporting member experience delivery, in accordance with the policies and objectives of the credit union, under the direction of the Director PMO. In this role, you will be the Business Unit technology owner and IT liaison of MX Systems used in supporting members through all channels (in FCs and CC).

To succeed in this role, you will have:

·        Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science or related field.

·        Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

·        3 years project management experience.

·        3-5 years of experience in IT and/or process improvement in the financial services or related industry with increasing responsibilities

·        Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.

·        Advanced project management skills and knowledge of agile business practices.

·        Advanced knowledge of data and insights for optimization.

·        Strong knowledge of core banking systems such as Episys, MeridianLink, Loand PQ, COTS, Kronos/Appointment Concierge, Lobby Tracker, Avtex, AskNicely.

·        Strong knowledge of digital business transformation and digital optimization, including but not limited to CX/UX journey mapping, value mapping, AI, RPA.

·        Knowledge of computer operating systems, databases, computer hardware, software (including wed-based technology) and peripheral devices.

·        Strong interpersonal and servant leadership skills.

·        Strong oral, written communication skills with the ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence.

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·        Analytical skills to be able to collect, analyze data, assess risk and perform financial analysis.

·        Strong problem solving and technical planning skills.

·        Ability to interpret governmental and regulatory issuances and requirements.

·        Ability to apply moderate to advanced statistical techniques.

Preference will be given to those who have:

·        5+ years of experience in IT, Project Management or Process Improvement in the financial services or related industry with increasing responsibilities

·        1-2 years of experience as part of a transformational project team

·        Master’s Degree in project management or digital transformation.
