Reports to: Vice President Development
and implement a fundraising plan focused on major gifts for the organization to
meet operating and capital budget needs on an annual basis as well as long
term. This role will strategically expand the organization’s major gift and
planned giving programs with a goal of significantly increasing the base of
annual donors who give more than $10,000 on an annual basis. Conduct face-to-face solicitations involving
Club leadership and key volunteers, as appropriate. Responsible for meeting annual revenue
targets and working directly with the VP of Development to develop and execute
a comprehensive major gift strategy.

and strategies with primary focus on individual giving.
closely with Development Committee, Board of Directors and Advisory
Councils (2-3) to identify major gift prospects.

including recognition events, print materials and ongoing communication.
Areas of Responsibility
manage a portfolio of 100 – 150 major gift prospects including research,
strategy oversight, proposal development and writing, coordination of
follow-up to secure gift and stewardship activities.
the implementation of Advancing Philanthropy, a comprehensive strategy and
program with a focus on individual giving and board support.

financial support and provide information regarding club activities and needs.
degree from an accredited college or university.
minimum of five years proven experience in resource development – including
successful major gift fundraising.
working effectively with volunteer leaders and high profile individuals
verbal and written communication skills.
track record of developing and executing successful fundraising strategies
with long-term sustainability.

computer skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Raiser’s
