Service Barback

Position Summary

The Service Bar Back supports the bar and service teams by ensuring the service bar is fully stocked,

clean, and operating efficiently at all times. This role is physically active, detail-oriented, and critical to

maintaining speed, organization, and consistency during service.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish ice, glassware, garnishes, juices, syrups, and bar supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bar, prep areas, and storage spaces
• Wash, polish, and organize glassware throughout service
• Assist with opening and closing bar setup and breakdown
• Support bartenders and service bar attendants during peak periods
• Monitor supply levels and communicate restock needs proactively
• Assist with trash, recycling, and keg changes as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Previous bar or restaurant experience preferred
• Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency
• Ability to anticipate needs and work independently
• Team-oriented, reliable, and physically capable
• Must meet legal requirements to handle alcohol (varies by state)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move continuously for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and carry throughout shift
