Job Summary:

As the Senior Outpatient Director you will assist the Outpatient Directors in managing the direct day-to-day business operations of Vertava Health’s Behavioral Health and Wellness Centers. This includes clinical, and sales operations in a startup environment. As the Senior Outpatient Director you’d be responsible for assisting in the operationalizing of start-ups as well as enhancing mature programs to ensure over achievement on all key metrics. 

Priority responsibilities include:

  • Develop and supervise a team of Outpatient Directors 

  • Engage and supervise Outpatient Directors to assure consistent clinical content across program locations for outpatient programs

  • Bring your operational expertise to create budgets that support growth and service excellence with a focus on exceeding EBITDA, NOI target, and admissions targets 

  • Demonstrate situational agility and the ability to forecast trends to then train and lead teams in new directions to support sustainable growth

  • Recognize and develop top talent throughout the service line with a focus on succession planning and leadership development

  • Develop, analyze and implement action plans related to metrics for outpatient programs with a dedicated focus on achieving top tier scores in patient satisfaction and clinical outcome measures

  • Develop and enhance strategic approach to referral generation for long term sustainable progress and growth

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field

  • Minimum of 7-years operations experience required; Multi location oversight is a must

  • Behavioral Healthcare experience is a plus 

  • Experience working in a start-up culture and environment is a plus 

  • 75% travel 

  • Solves problems using standard procedures and precedents

  • Knows when to refer issues to leadership and when to handle them personally

  • Has a working knowledge of a skill or discipline that requires basis analytic ability

  • Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process

  • Has a working knowledge of functional discipline

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to use hands and fingers, talk or hear

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk and reach continually. Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Close vision required to see computer monitor, read documents, and operate copy and fax machine

  • Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions
