Reports directly to the DOSM/Event Manager with
responsibilities to the Local Sales and Marketing department.
This position Reports to Director of Sales and Marketing
& is responsible for, but not limited to:
Achieve budgeted revenues and personal sales
goals and maximize profitability within all areas of responsibility.
Abide by and achieve venue-level sales plans
that drive measurable incremental revenue and increase business volume during
off peak periods and increase food and beverage banquet sales. Coordinate all
event logistics and details between Client and Sales Office to include final
guarantee, private spaces, signed contracts, transportation, check-in,
deposits, and final payments.
Identify operational problems that impact the
effectiveness of marketing activities and overall venue sales performance and
work with department heads on solutions.
Schedule events and activities at the venue and
coordinate with other departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the
LexLive Sales Department and prospective clients.
Promote teamwork and quality service through
daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Develop and maintain good relationships with
officials and representatives of local community groups and companies to
promote new business and increase sales for the venue.
Network and maintain communication with outside
contacts. Strong reading and writing abilities are utilized often when
communicating and when completing contracts, paperwork and management reports.

Minimum of one year of Sales/Event Catering experience in a high-volume
environment. College degree preferred, however not mandatory.
