Reports to: Director, IT 


Summary


The role of the NetSuite Administrator is responsible for configuration and customization of the NetSuite platform, including related integrations, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR and other regulations.  This role will collaborate with employees across all departments and development teams to perform customizations, resolve user issues and define processes within NetSuite. The individual will work closely with business and IT leaders to ensure proper alignment of NetSuite solutions with organizational goals and processes.  The ideal candidate will be solutions focused with excellent techno-functional skills. 

Responsibilities 

  • Act as the primary liaison of all NetSuite related matters such as design, functionality, maintenance, troubleshooting, controls, and performance of the system
  • Communicate effectively with end-users, project consultants, and NetSuite Support
  • Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support and training to NetSuite users, while consistently working toward best practices and process improvements
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer requirements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design, estimate, build, rollout, and maintain enhancements
  • Create and manage configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards
  • Create and modify saved searches, reports, dashboards, and KPI’s, as required
  • Responsible for the management of documentation of key operational processes, system improvements, and their revisions
  • Technical lead for integrating third party products with NetSuite
  • Lead testing for all new changes and implementations
  • Manage system maintenance and perform required administration and system optimizations
  • Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and system effectiveness, including proper use of sandbox environments and how to prepare for and communicate new release information
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization, and integration
  • Understand overall internal business processes and systems and their interdependencies
  • Customize roles for new users and ensure proper system access for existing roles
  • Implement and configure NetSuite bundles and add-ons.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Two (2) to three (3) years NetSuite administration and configuration experience
  • Experience with NetSuite integrations
  • Experience with NetSuite CRM and e-commerce a plus
  • Experience with SuiteCommerce, SuiteBuilder, or SuiteScript a plus
  • Must have a communicative, collaborative, transparent, and trusted approach to working with his/her staff, colleagues, upper management, and outside partners
  • Experience working with outside IT service providers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong written and oral communications, interpersonal abilities and customer service orientation
  • Treats others with respect and value, with diplomacy and tact
  • Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a partner within the business and IT
  • Ability to focus on business value results, rather than technology solutions

  • Ability to translate and communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
