Litigation Paralegal

Cameo Consulting Group, LLC a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria VA, is a qualified and available Paralegal to support our client, The United States Attorney's Office in Salt Lake City, UT.

SCOPE: To provide comprehensive litigation and technical support for complex, data-intensive Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) matters, focusing on discovery processing, case review platform administration, and advanced paralegal duties. Working closely with USAO Automated Litigation Support (ALS) staff, the Contractor shall manage the full lifecycle of Electronically Stored Information (ESI)—including collection, tracking, processing, and production—while ensuring adherence to standard protocols for imaging and metadata extraction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key responsibilities include the administration of document review databases (e.g., Relativity and Eclipse), conducting legal research via LexisNexis/Westlaw, and supporting ACE attorneys in the analysis of referrals, pleadings, and complex electronic records.
• At the Paralegal III level, the Contractor is responsible for drafting legal documents, summarizing reports, tracking court deadlines, and coordinating pretrial witness activities.
• Qualified personnel must demonstrate mastery of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional, coupled with the professional communication skills necessary to handle substantive inquiries and collaborate effectively across all staff levels to meet rigorous litigation deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in litigation support or as a paralegal in a fast-paced legal environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree or Certified Paralegal (CP) credential is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and the end-to-end litigation lifecycle.Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis,Westlaw) and litigation support software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with attorneys, investigators, and court personnel.
