SailPoint Engineer

Rapid Strategy is seeking a Senior Level/ Subject Matter Expert SailPoint Engineer who can support and lead automation and implementation initiatives. This role will support our client in Northern VA and is expected to be a hybrid role with an expectation of 1 day a week on-site in Reston, VA. This role will require the candidate to have SME level experience and knowledge of Sailpoint Implementation and/or Automation. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and sustainable solutions that support enterprise goals.

• Able to execute and implement the design by working with the team, mentor team members, design patterns, setting and enforcing standards and best practices in code reviews.

• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customer(s).
  Proven track record of implementing complex patterns, designs and solutions in SailPoint IdentityIQ.

• Have extensive experience designing and implementing RBAC and Policies (e.g., training, Segregation of Duties (SOD)), API services for access policies, and certifications, out of the box and custom IIQ connectors, customize workflows, forms, rules, roles, policies, reports, and certifications.

• Strong knowledge and experience of core AWS services - such as S3, EC2, CloudFormation, RDS, ElasticBeanstalk, Lambda, SQS, SNS and AWS CLI commands.

• Ability to quickly hit the ground running and operate independently with minimal guidance.

• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience w/ penetration testing, or vulnerability assessments

• 7+ years in a senior level technical position or SME level role

• Ability to learn and operate as a customer/ end user in order to produce deliverables based on the experience 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex topics concisely

• Effective time management and organizational skills to manage priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced work environment 

• Experience with cybersecurity, 

• Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking, and common security technologies.

• An understanding of documentation workflows

• Experience producing web-based documentation using a content management system
