Monterey Bay Fish Grotto is a locally-owned restaurant. We are proud that we have been serving Pittsburgh from the same location for over 20 years. Some of our team have been here from the beginning, and we welcome new staff who enjoy serving our guests and maintaining our high standards.

We are closed on New Year’s Day, Super Bowl Sunday, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so that our employees can enjoy the holidays with their families. We offer health insurance to full-time employees and staff dining discounts.

Description of duties:

• Dining room servers are expected to provide our guests with memorable experiences

• Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance our guests’ dining experience

• Provide attentive service and create a welcoming environment

Job Requirements:

• Two years of fine dining service experience

• Successful completion of our seven-day rigorous training and testing program 

• Basic wine and spirit knowledge

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to lift 30 pounds

• Reliable transportation is expected
