Year round position
Major Functions: To seat restaurant and bar patrons and maintain restaurant table inventory according to standard.
Responsibilities: Provide a great first impression to all guests.
Qualifications: Must have strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills
Must be fluent in English and demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly with guests and co-workers.
Must be willing to “pitch-in†and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Must have basic knowledge of menu items
Knowledge of OPEN TABLE Helpful, but not required.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and in making sound decisions.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and cordial behavior

Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
Must complete state specific (Delaware) TIPS or Comparable Training
Essential Tasks: Must answer phone within 2 rings, and demonstrate ability to answer caller’s questions
Must be able to handle, organize and manage “to-go†orders as needed
Interacts verbally with all guests, creating a service oriented and upbeat atmosphere
Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
Maintain clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and aesthetic standards
Ability to maintain a waiting list when needed
Complete all side-work according to standard
Ability to seat guests according to standards and server rotation
Notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired customers.
Provide guests with menus and answer any questions, also working to satisfy any special requests.
Complies with all established F&B standards
Must be able to operate MICROS and Open Table and process payments for to-go orders
Execute other duties as assigned by management
