Service Clerks are customer service experts working in all departments throughout the store including Front End (cashier), Grocery, Produce, Meat, and Deli. A valid Food Handler's Card is required. Service Clerks must be comfortable continually learning new skills, working on a team and making decisions together, taking quick action to best serve our members and customers, maintaining cleanliness and organization, all while working under the direction of the Manager-on-Duty.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Â· Maintain working knowledge of items being carried in each department;
Â· Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy;
Â· Stocks, rotates, prepares product according to department procedure;
Â· Maintain back-stock areas according to departmental standards, separate special orders, updates, and files paperwork;
Â· Ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met;
Â· Follow all Health Department regulations;
Â· Keep manager-on-duty informed of any problems and/or ideas;
Â· Participate in team, staff, and other meetings as scheduled;
Â· Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Passion for customer service and good food. Someone with an interest in cooking and/or baking preferred. Training will be provided for this position.
