Part-time Mortgage Assistant


Position Summary


Responsible for all inbound calls regarding mortgage questions such as taxes, hazard insurance, escrow analyses, mortgage payments, principal reductions, account balances, verifications of mortgage, year-end information, contact information maintenance, etc.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


1.      Answers all incoming mortgage telephone calls and assists customers with loan account questions.

2.      Sends and collects any change of address or contact information forms.

3.      Makes any necessary credit bureau corrections.

4.      Prepares and sends adverse action notices.

5.      Assigns and prepares file for processing by reviewing application and supporting documents.

6.      Prepares change in terms requests, as needed.

7.      Sends out weekly rate sheet.

8.      Assists with mortgage renewals.

9.      Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.

10.  Adheres to the BSA policy, bank policy, and all federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

·         Mortgage loan experience preferred.

·         Ability to multitask.

·         Good organizational skills.

·         Proficient in Microsoft office suite.

·         Ability to learn new software systems quickly.

·         Accuracy and ability to coordinate and prioritize workday efficiently. 

·         Ability to exhibit professionalism in communication skills.

·         Possess excellent typing skills.
