Production Floater

Vincent Printing is  an industry leader in creating innovative products for professional and art communities, including a wide-format printer for the retail, outdoor, and transit industries, based in Chattanooga, TN.  

We are seeking a Full-Time Production Floater to join our team. This position will requires attention to detail; knowledge of the various applications of the products and use of specific equipment such as router, commercial sewing machines, laminating equipment, applying special coatings, grommet applications and any other related machinery. Must be capable of reading, understanding and executing written customer specifications. Ensures that Products are properly packaged for shipment according to specifications and established procedures. Verifies that the product packaged matches work order in quality and quantity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Must be proficient in the use of and application of all equipment stated in Basic Function defined above.
• Must follow written specifications. Report any conflict of specifications with generally accepted practice to immediate supervisor or manager.
• Must maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  

• Using proper lifting techniques when loading media, and/or ask for assistance regarding a potential safety risk with materials handling.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate

• Must be capable of reading and understanding written and verbal instructions as well as written specifications.
