Guest Experience Liaison - The Great George

Charlottetown, PE Part-time $15.00-$16.00/hour

The Opportunity – Guest Experience Liaison, The Great George Hotel 
As Atlantic Canada’s Premiere Experiential Hotel, our purpose is to create a sought-after experience designed around the comfort and satisfaction of all the senses. We pride ourselves in offering the highest level of guest service and attention to detail. The Great George allows an intimate escape from city life with personalized services and engaging hospitality. 
Who You Are:
  • Greet arriving guests, assist where needed with check-in and check-out process 
  •  Coordinate and lead daily historical walking tour for guests (45 min-1 hour) 
  • Co-ordination of catering requests for our guests and meeting groups 
  • Set up /tear down of meeting space configuration 
  • Regular inventory control is required for back-office supplies  
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and guest services 
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area 
  • Arrange services required for guests with special needs 
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments 
  • Provide exceptional guest service 
  • Process, cancel and change room reservations including meeting space facilities 
  • Work alongside of the hotel team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere 
  • Assisting Front Desk Agents if needed
  • Other ad hoc duties where required during peak times. 

What You Bring:

  • Positive and outgoing personality 
  •  Love for building strong relationships with team members, our guests, and the community such as local vendors and tour operators. 
  • Our Guest Experience Liaison will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends 
  • Very strong oral communication 
  •  Effective interpersonal skills 
  •  In depth knowledge of Prince Edward Island is considered an asset
