Facilities Maintenance Tech

Four State Trucks is looking for someone who can assist with general building repairs and maintenance.  This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday with an occasional Saturday as need to complete a project. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs of equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance on job sites.
• Assists with upkeep of equipment such as forklift trucks and company vehicles.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Abilities:

· Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.

· Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.

· Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, or crawl as needed.
• Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work outside in varying temperatures.
• Must be able to tolerate unregulated temperature-controlled environments.

Experience:

Maintenance: 1 year

Diesel experience needed.

License/Certification: Driver’s License, CDL preferred

Must have own tools for mechanical work.
