Getting the Job Done:
· Provide guests and team members with professional, efficient, courteous and genuine hospitality.
· Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to train and develop team members.
· Demonstrate a leadership ability that inspires and empowers team members to succeed, grow and develop.
· Leads the team to anticipate client’s needs and offer services prior to being asked.
· Prepares annual strategic sales plan and revenue budgets that aligns with GM(s) for overall sales and marketing strategic plan.
· Maintains and conducts industry market research to project future business and trends and helps the Sales team strategically plan business.
· Ensures weekly sales meetings are conducted with direct reports providing direction, giving guidance, and encouraging the sharing of ideas and successes.
· Hold yourself and the team accountable to meet monthly revenue and prospecting goals.
· Monitors the performance of the Sales team to goals and provides informal and formal feedback in accordance with the performance development policy and procedure.
· Utilize data to identify opportunities and provide direction and training to maximize business.
· Participate weekly in all revenue calls and work closely with the Revenue Manager(s) to drive results.
· Support sales teams in their efforts within their communities to network and build relationships.
· Supports the regional team and ensures all Brand requirements are met and maintained by fully understanding the brand requirements and systems.
· Be involved with the social media efforts within the region and ensure consistent and quality postings.
· Calculate quarterly bonus awards ensuring timely payout to your team.
Experience for Success:
· 5 years of experience in Sales/Marketing management
· Progressive growth within the Hospitality industry
· High School Diploma; College Degree a plus
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; a second language a plus
· Financial skills including budget management, expense control, profit management and forecasting
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think out of the box
· Strong negotiation, presentation and computer skills
