We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and qualified full-time Textbook Analyst to join our dynamic, online bookstore team. Our corporate office is in Lexington, KY; however, this position would be Remote for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities


·         Maintain and improve processes for book adoptions

·         Audit booklists to ensure accurate information and work with team members to provide recommendations to the school

·         Review business procedures and recommend specific types of data on how they can be improved

·         Analyze numbers, trends, and other data points to draw new conclusions based on findings

·         Communicate with teams regarding availability issues

·         Participate in semester audits and help assist in planning future semesters for each school

·         Review school websites to ensure accuracy of all book adoptions

·         Monitor textbook inventory levels for each school to update stocking percentages

·         Connect with textbook vendors daily to ensure accurate information is being communicated

·         Establish new reports to supplement day-to-day business

·         Develop enhancements to help offset deficiencies

·         Training new personnel in current systems


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience


     Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

     Relevant account management, sales, marketing, customer service, or educational technology experience preferred

     Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook

     Knowledge of current technology is a must, including Google Apps, iOS, Slack, and more

     Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

     Must have the desire to work as part of a team

     Strong verbal and written communication skills

     Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills

     Travel possible (local and overnight) up to 25%

     If remote:

     Ability to work from home; must have designated workspace, reliable internet, childcare, etc.

     Ability to attend occasional in-person meetings in Lexington, KY (preferred)
