Label Lead
Rubicon Organics’ mission is to grow the best cannabis on earth and for the earth and today we are doing just that out of our state-of-the art greenhouse facility located in Delta, B.C. We are growing and expanding quickly, with national distribution across Canada. We are launching many new products each quarter as we bring exciting new genetics and extracted products to market in Canada and around the world.
As a Label Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of label printing and approval processes within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely printing of labels, as well as adherence to regulatory and quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all printing equipment at Rubicon Organics.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technicians regarding printing operations and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of all printing requests from internal customers, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain comprehensive records/logs of print jobs completed, ensuring documentation of important details and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the QA and Supply Innovation teams to establish and enforce label approval processes before initiating production.
Requirements:
- Proficient in using MS Windows, MS Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, and other relevant software applications, demonstrating a high level of comfort and proficiency in a digital work environment.
- Become an expert in software systems utilized for label printing, such as Bartender and Print Portal, ensuring a deep understanding of their functionalities and capabilities.
- Possess excellent record-keeping and data management skills to ensure accurate and organized documentation of label printing processes, approvals, inventory, and related information.
- Comfortable and knowledgeable in working with hardware and electronics, particularly Zebra printers, rewinders, scanners, and other equipment commonly used in label printing operations.
