Responsible for greeting guests and providing prompt, accurate and courteous beverage service. Represents and participates in marketing events and activities.
Carrying a tray of beverage offerings throughout assigned zone. Serving and replenishing beverages, as requested. Conveying guest beverage orders to the assigned service bartender politely, professionally and effectively. Maintaining cleanliness of guest areas at all times including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays. Maintaining a clean and organized work station throughout shift and assists with restocking service bar throughout shift. Acting as a mobile cashier for all beverage transactions at department established pricing. Abiding with all federal, state and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service and intoxicated guests. Assisting guests with issues, anticipates guests’ needs and always confirms guest satisfaction before completing any interaction. Performing additional duties, as assigned, by management team. Represents and participates in casino marketing events and activities such as photo shoots and advertising, charity events, interviews and television appearances, contests and showcases. Must be knowledgeable about all information related to VFCR marketing such as special promotions, events and outlet hours. Must portray VFCR and the image of a Valley Girl/Gent in a positive and productive manner. Understands all PLCB regulations. Ensures compliance of all applicable liquor laws for department. Ensures compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations. Must be TIPS or RAMP certified. Six months of employment in related position is preferred. Ability to withstand physical demands, such as standing and walking briskly for extended periods of time; pushing, pulling stooping, bending and squatting continuously throughout shift; able to lift and carry 30 pounds, unassisted, for extended periods of time. Able to work entire shift, in full costume, without accommodations. Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program. Must be able to work in smoke filled environments. Must have full working knowledge of MICROS POS.
