$15.00-$16.00 Hourly Pay + Mileage, Paid Bi-Weekly.

Mondays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Additional hours may be available on an as-needed basis for errands, grocery shopping, appointments, and light household assistance.

Hand n Hand Home Health Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and patient Caregiver/Companion Driver to assist a client with transportation to and from weekly medical appointments and provide occasional companionship and household support. The ideal candidate will be reliable, attentive, and comfortable accompanying clients in community settings while promoting their safety, comfort, and independence.

Essential Responsibilities for Caregiver Companion Driver

• Safely transport the client to and from scheduled appointments.
• Remain with the client at the appointment location until they are called back by the provider.
• Wait on-site until the appointment is completed and assist the client back to the vehicle.
• Provide companionship and support throughout the outing.
• Ensure timely arrival and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Accompany the client on grocery shopping trips and other community outings.
• Assist with running errands as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as:
• Tidying common areas
• Washing dishes
• Light laundry
• Organizing household items
• Help with grocery unloading and putting away purchases.
• Perform other non-medical household tasks as assigned.

Qualifications for Companion Caregiver Driver

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Current automobile insurance is required.
• Reliable personal vehicle with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass all required background screenings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Previous caregiving, companion care, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient personality.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Comfortable working independently.
