Summary: The Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee all financial activities of the bank and holding company, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, manage and direct the accounts payable process, provide analysis on the costs/benefits of existing or new products and services, prepare annual budget and lead balance sheet and income statement management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversees accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
2. Prepares or directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
3. Analyzes performance verses projections; makes, oversees or recommend any necessary adjustments to current operations, future projections and budgets.
4. Reviews operations, products and markets to identify and recommend opportunities.
5. Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
6. Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share along with recommending strategies to properly positions the bank’s balance sheet.
7. Oversees bank treasurer in ALCO preparation and reporting, liquidity management, investment of funds, and determining appropriate deposit and loan pricing.
8. Supervises the trust department and investor relations.
9. Leads the budgeting process.

Reports:
The bank treasurer and accounts payable will report to CFO.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration, business accounting, or finance required.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- Eight to ten years of experience in bank financial management is preferred.
Other Requirements

- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
