What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations
- Provide hands-on leadership and supervision to nursing staff
- Support and ensure compliance with CMS regulations, state survey standards, and facility policies
- Conduct rounds to monitor resident care, documentation accuracy, and clinical outcomes
- Assist with survey readiness and actively participate during state and federal surveys
- Oversee staffing coordination, scheduling support, and coverage needs
- Investigate incidents, concerns, and grievances with professionalism and urgency
- Lead and support infection control and QAPI initiatives
- Coach, mentor, and develop the nursing team members
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality care and resident satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- RN preferred; LVN/LPN considered with strong leadership experience
- Current nursing license in good standing in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Skilled nursing / long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and LTC standards
- Proven ability to lead, multitask, and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
