Instruction and Assessment Librarian

The Instruction and Assessment Librarian plans, teaches, and assesses information literacy instruction both synchronously and asynchronously in collaboration with faculty and the other librarians. The librarian is the liaison for undergraduate, graduate, and ACCESS programs in the Social Sciences. This position provides face to face and virtual research and reference services. The librarian plays a leading role in designing, deploying, and analyzing assessment activities for the library's instruction services programs.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Library Science required

Excellent skills in both verbal and written communication

·  Familiarity with information literacy pedagogy including assessment methods

·  Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity

Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
