Security Supervisor
Summary
Supervises Security Officers assigned to the shift and will monitor their compliance with the internal controls and procedures of the Company
Job Duties
Supervisors will continually monitor their shift to ensure a safe and secure environment for Casino patrons, Hotel guests, company employees and the safe movement and protection of Company assets and property. This position will supervise all Security Officers assigned to the shift and will monitor their compliance with the internal controls and procedures of the Company. Develops and maintains a strong positive relationship with Local and State Law Enforcement Officials. Monitors performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence of policies and procedures. Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Security Dept. Ensures the integrity of gambling, banking, count room and cash handling procedures. Ensures the safety of guests and employees during business operation. Maintains all required logs as directed by compact agreement. Maintains and controls access to restricted Casino areas. Ensures security surveillance video tapes are changed at designated times. Will perform functions as a Security Officer as needed. Keeps management informed of security incidents. Ensures compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
Qualifications
High
school diploma or G.E.D. One year
related experience in Security/Law enforcement and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Must be able to communicate in English. Must be able to work in a smoke
filled environment. Must be able to
stand for extended periods of time. Must
qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control
Board. Must have thorough
knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
