Facilities Engineering Technician

Crowheart Energy, LLC is an independent oil and gas company with an operational focus on the Green River Basin in southern Wyoming. The Company has a low-decline legacy production base with development opportunities across its 1,200,000 net acre position. Crowheart is privately held and governed by long-term energy industry investors.  

Crowheart Energy is looking for a Facilities Engineering Tech to join our team. This role will support Crowheart Energy’s Facilities team and have exposure to many functions across the organization. The role will be responsible for project tracking, data mining and analytics.

Job Duties \ Responsibilities:

·         Support facility new and legacy construction activities

·         Provide technical and administrative support to the Facilities & Pipeline and Construction groups

·         Gather technical data and update and maintain informational databases (Excel/Wellview)

·         Track projects and assist in the preparation of project information and presentations for management

·         Create, update and maintain spreadsheets and reports

·         Support development of facilities standards that would benefit the entire organization

·         Support and maintain facilities performance reporting and facilities project KPIs

·         Effectively communicates project tracking and reporting

·         Performs project cost management

·         Prepare, track and upload AFE’s

·         WellView database management and ensure data quality

·         Provide support and training to field employees to ensure accurate data entry

·         Track and maintain field operations data

·         Maintain operation files, retrieve data for analysis, and review daily reports

·         Work in conjunction with accounting and regulatory to provide requested information

·         Manage multiple tasks, evaluate, and change priorities

·         Data scrubbing and utilizing limited resources to a maximum capacity

·         Collaborate to construct and manage processes

·         Some travel to the field office

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience supporting facilities, drilling, completion and workover operations
  • Experience in Peloton, WellView and AdminView
  • Skilled with P2 AFE, OpenInvoice and Microsoft Office Suite including proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Must have a strong work ethic and possess excellent teamwork, planning, and organizational skills
