Vysnova staff manages programs and projects primarily within the Public Health, Government Acquisition and Training sectors. We work throughout in the U.S. and overseas including; Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East chiefly for governmental clients, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Department of Defense (DOD), the General Services Administration (GSA), and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Currently, Vysnova is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Contract Support Specialist for potential full-time work with the White House Communications Agency (WHCA).

Client/Location: Washington, DC


·       Review procurement requests, together with related specifications, plans, statements of work or purchase descriptions to determine if they are complete.  Provide information to enable the Contracting Officer to determine proper acquisition strategy;

·       Assist in market research and execution of approved acquisition strategies;

·       Prepare pre-solicitation documentation applicable to procurements ensuring that all current applicable clauses are incorporated and laws, regulations, and policies are followed;

·       Prepare synopsis and solicitations or similar announcements for issuance by the Contracting Officer;

·       Perform analysis of quotes, offers, and proposals received.  Provide information for the use of the Contracting Officer in the negotiation process;

·       Process amendments to solicitations as directed by the contracting officer;

·       Provide administrative and logistical support in preparation for pre-proposal conferences;

·       Provide administrative and logistical assistance to the proposal evaluation process including, but not limited to providing support in the areas of  past performance, cost evaluation, and other contractual issues as required;

·       Assist in the preparation for exchanges/communications with offerors;

·       Assist in the preparation of source selection reports and draft briefings;

·       Provide administrative and logistics assistance in the debriefing of offerors;

·       Maintain and analyze information databases to track contract status;

·       Prepare documentation for administrative contract actions including task orders, modifications, and exercise of options;

·       Prepare draft correspondence and contract documents;

·       Follow-up on contract issues and provide recommendations and status to the Contracting Officer;

·       Prepare contracts for close-out;

·       Participate in Government meetings;

·       Provide research and analysis to identify options for contracting officer;

·       Provides procurement clerical assistance with execution of contract distribution, contract reports, FOIA processing, briefings, etc.

·       Perform other acquisition-related, non-inherently governmental functions as required.

·       Maintain electronic and/or paper contract file ensuring all required documents are uploaded and are in the file.


·       The subject/employee must possess a Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) access security completed within the last 3 years. In addition employees should have a Single Scope Background (SSB) Investigation completed within the last 36 months.

·       The Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, acquisition, or contracting field. 

·       The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

·       The candidate must be familiar with Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2).

·        The candidate must be able to communicate orally and in writing.

·       The Candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.  An Associate’s Degree is preferred.
