Marketing and Communication Support Volunteer (part-time)

We are seeking a motivated and creative Communications and Marketing Support student to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing marketing materials, creating engaging content, supporting communications initiatives, and contributing to projects that enhance community outreach and organizational awareness.

Key Responsibilities

·       Assist in creating marketing and promotional materials, including social media content, newsletters, and digital communications.

·       Support the development of communication strategies and campaigns.

·       Draft and edit written content for a variety of audiences.

·       Assist with website and social media updates.

·       Conduct research to support marketing and communications initiatives.

·       Help coordinate events, campaigns, and community engagement activities.

·       Collaborate with team members on special projects and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

·       Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related post-secondary program.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       Creative, detail-oriented, and organized.

·       Familiarity with social media platforms and Microsoft Office applications; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
